I’m happy to share my recently published research paper. In this work, we use polarization-resolved two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy (p-2DES) to uncover how energy transfer occurs between light-harvesting antenna subunits. These are essential components in plant photosynthesis, responsible for capturing and transporting light energy. Resolving the energy transfer processes among them, especially under physiological conditions, is a challenging task due to heavy spectral overlap. Our results suggest that energy transfer rates is connected to how the proteins are arranged and offer a new method to study energy transfer in large multichromophoric systems.
